MINI OPEN TENIS X CONCEPT HOTEL GROUP
IBIZA TO HOST FOR THE FIRST TIME THE ONLY TENNIS TOURNAMENT THAT BRINGS TOGETHER SPORT, MUSIC AND LIFESTYLE
Minishop Open Tennis lands on the island with Concept Hotel Group this coming September 19th, bringing together leading personalities from the cultural, sports and creative scenes on the courts of Bubble Tennis Club in Sant Antoni de Portmany.
After two successful editions in Madrid, Minishop Open Tennis makes its Ibiza debut in the best possible way—closing the summer with the most creative and original tennis tournament of the moment. This unique and special event will take place on September 19th at Bubble Tennis Club, located in Sant Antoni de Portmany. Created by the iconic Madrid multi-brand store Minishop, it is one of the city’s most distinctive and powerful happenings, now making its Mediterranean debut.
The choice of Ibiza as the host is no coincidence. The island represents a unique cultural meeting point, perfectly aligned with the tournament’s non-conformist spirit. The values of traditional Ibiza blend seamlessly with Minishop Madrid and Minishop Open Tennis, where sport, music and fashion come together to unite cultural and sporting personalities.
The project has the support of Concept Hotel Group as strategic partner, a group that shares the vision of making Minishop Open Tennis much more than a tournament. Their involvement reinforces the commitment to excellence, the design of exclusive experiences, and the international projection of a one-of-a-kind event.
The courts of Bubble Tennis Club will welcome 24 teams made up of well-known figures from the national and international cultural and sports scenes. This venue, a local tennis reference, is renowned for its innovative spirit and its ability to connect sport, leisure and community.
The championship will feature a rich mix of teams with Ibiza DNA such as Las Dalias, Casa Jondal, Concept Hotel Group, Roman Fortunatto, Soho Farmhouse Ibiza, Can Art, El Silencio Ibiza, Las Cicadas, Los Enamorados, Mari Mayans, Nieto & Lauda and Homies. Also competing are teams representing collectives, brands, record labels, audiovisual production houses, media, communications agencies, cultural clubs and influential personalities such as Rolang Arroz, Tigres de Canillejas, Días de Tenis, Por Las Noches, Highxtar, ROMA, OUT, fffeas and VICIO. The renowned Los Angeles clothing brand Brain Dead is the latest major addition to this edition.
Behind each team are familiar faces such as former Real Madrid player Marcelo, tennis stars Feliciano López, Pablo Andújar, Pato Clavet and Nico Almagro, and popular actors like Ricardo Gómez. Model Juan Betancourt and TV host Arturo Valls will once again show off their backhand power, alongside content creator Vital Villarubia. Irish singer and Ibiza resident Róisín Murphy will swap her microphone for a racket, while we’ll also see the serves of two motor racing aces, Gelete Nieto and Mathias Lauda, among other big names.
