SUMMER 2024 OF DORADO LIVE SHOWS AT VENICE BAY & ROCK NIGHTS AT PIKES

The most awaited live music series in the Bay of San José is back at Venice Bay. The Concept Hotel Group's multifunctional space will once again host the best live music on the Spanish scene, which will kick off on 23rd May, sponsored by Estrella Damm.

The Dorado Live Shows concert series is almost ready to go for 2024. The long-awaited opening on the 23rd May is a cause for celebration as we have the return of Carlos Sadness, who last year could only do a truncated emergency concert that has remained etched in the memory and the hearts of all those who attended. Sadness is gonna give us the whole concert this time, bursting with his tropical indie and good vibes live on stage. Cintia Lund, who hails from the Canary Islands, will be his opening act in this first concert of the series.

The second date is on the 6th June: the indie rock band from Madrid and Alicante, Niña Polaca, are the headliners with veterans Killer Barbies, the punk rock band founded by Silvia Superstar and Billy King, as the opening act. A talk by Carlos Galán, CEO and founder of independent label Subterfuge Records & Radio, will precede the concert. His already famous talks under the name of 'Sympathy for the Music Industry' will have an Ibizan version and will feature exceptional guests such as Luis Costa - DJ, journalist and co-writer of the book Balearic (with Christian Len) and Diego Calvo, CEO and Co-Founder of Concept Hotel Group.

On the 11th of July, Rock Nights celebrates its 19th anniversary in style at Pikes Hotel; an extra-special date with a line-up to match: the Valencian laid-back rock band Santero y Los Muchachos and the wonderful Sarria, led by Malaga-born guitarist Nacho Sarria, are coming to turn Venice Bay and everything else, upside down.

On 8th August, Crystal Fighters (acoustic), the indie electronic band with English and Spanish roots, arrive with all guns blazing for their first concert in Ibiza. The Ibizan band Niños Raros will be the opening act on a date that promises to be full on!

The concert series closes on the 19th September with a day full of activities to delight the rock lovers, skaters and surfers who prowl the island in search of peers. Sexy Zebras, the rock trio from Hortaleza (Madrid), arrive with their heavy artillery on the Dorado Live Shows stage, backed by the velvety voice and acoustic guitar of Julia Nar from the Canary Islands as the opening act. To warm up this final concert of the year, we have an exhibition by Spanish skateboarder Danny León, with Sören Manzoni as speaker. León will represent Spain at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. We round off the day, sponsored by Red Bull, with a presentation by veteran Barcelona surfer and skateboarder Sören Manzoni at the Grand Paradiso cinema, where he'll talk about the ins and outs of the skateboarding world.

ROCK NIGHTS presents CASINO CHIPS at PIKES Hotel

With 10 seasons under their belts at the legendary Pikes Hotel in Ibiza, the Rock Nights family is back with a monthly residency, starting on 23rd May. This season, Pikes and Rock Nights join forces to attract the most varied crowd possible by concocting a programme that brings British rock stars such as Miles Kane and Izzy, the frontwoman and lead singer of Black Honey to the Freddies DJ booth, as well as the all-encompassing rock ‘n’ roll tunes from the resident DJs.

Rock Nights has a theme each year, and this summer, the inspiration is the iconic Las Vegas Casino chips with a different design for each party.

These exceptional headliners are on the decks with the classic line-up of Rock Nights residents: Colin Peters, Lola Von Dage, Manel Simone, Sr. Cardona and Diego Calvo.

Like always, there will a bathroom karaoke, live tattoo by Paul and the PlayBoy Pinball. Rock Nights will once again be the official after-show of the Dorado Live Shows concerts held in the Venice Bay, the multifunctional space by Concept Hotel Group, which this summer brings an eclectic and guitar fuelled line-up: Crystal Fighters, Sexy Zebras, Carlos Sadness, Niña Polaca, Santero y Los Muchachos, Sarria, Killer Barbies, Cintia Lund, Julia Nar and the Ibizan band Niños Raros.
