Pequeños Calvarios (Pet Peeves) is a hyperlink black comedy directed by Javier Polo (The Mystery Of The Pink Flamingo), one half of the Polo Brothers. It tells the story of Carlo (Arturo Valls), an eccentric watchmaker who possesses the ability to alter the lives of his town’s inhabitants while repairing their clocks. Through his influence, the characters are pushed into extreme situations that challenge them to take control of their destiny. With acid humour and absurd situations, the film offers a very personal look at human obsessions.
