Pepa Salazar

Born in Valencia, she studied Design at the European Institute of Design (IED) and moved to Madrid, complementing her education with courses in pattern making and tailoring.

After completing her training, she started working within the creative team at Loewe. In 2013, she decided to launch her first collection, which she presented at the Samsung EGO during Madrid Fashion Week, where she won the Mercedes Benz Fashion Talent award. Salazar repeated this award the following year.

With her third collection, Hyperdry - created using various technical processes - she won the Samsung Ego Innovation Project Prize, and in 2017, she was a finalist for Who’s On Next.

Her collections are conceptual and sophisticated, leaning towards minimalism. Pattern making plays a leading role in their work; the designer's training in this area vital, as it's the only way to fully realize an idea without it getting lost along the way.

Among her clients are singers Nathy Peluso and Rosalía, whom she dressed for the music video 'Juro Que', as well as for multiple concerts and editorials. Kim Kardashian also wore one of her garments for an editorial.

Over the past years, she has collaborated with brands like Tous and Nike, as well as with artists from their crew, such as Lorena Prain.

Her designs, featured at Opening Ceremony, showcase conceptual minimalism, especially in dresses. Notably, she dressed Rosalía and Kim Kardashian, collaborating with Tous and Nike. A finalist in Vogue España's "Who’s on Next," Salazar's career reflects evolving fashion dynamics. Her impactful journey merges creativity and technical skill, solidifying her presence in the industry.
